Excel Equine®® had a great time being a part of Recreational Rider Day on April 2nd at the University of Louisville Shelby Rd Campus.  The event was put on by the Kentucky Horse Council and was such a pleasant way for horse owners to gain more applicable knowledge to further their ability to be excellent horsemen and women.  The event was comprised of educational seminars covering topics from equine first aid, nutrition, equine careers, and much more.  The vendors that attended the event were all enthusiastic about their various organizations and businesses which made for great opportunities for attendees to browse around between seminars and check out what is new and exciting in Kentucky’s equine industry.  Educating horse owners and youth that are invested in horses it vital to our industry.  Through the willingness of various horse professionals and businesses throughout Kentucky, this day for furthering the knowledge of recreational riders was made possible.  Excel Equine®® not only wishes to provide people with quality feeds for their horses, but to also instill important nutritional knowledge in all horse owners who have the desire to become more educated in how to manage their horses’ feeding programs.  We hope that people never hesitate to reach out to us for feeding advice and we are so grateful to events such as Recreational Rider Day to provide a platform for people to ask their equine questions from reputable sources.  Excel Equine®® looks forward to more events like these and being an active participant in the thriving horse community of Kentucky!
