Show Blends

Being in the spotlight, the champion show horse must be absorbed in its task. Like an actor on a stage, every element of its being is judged, from a high step and arched neck to a shiny coat and gleaming eyes. For show horses, we have upped fat content to help settle and calm high-strung horses. Good fiber content also moderates behavior and helps maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Vitamins, minerals and proteins maintain and in some cases, optimize muscle function.

Because the nutritional needs of show horses are often unique to their specific show discipline, the nutritional feeding programs for these horses can range from high-calorie and highly nutritionally fortified feeds and feeds designed to be fed in small amount to feeds that take into consideration the lower energy expended by horses in some disciplines.
